204-Cu Stainless Steel
Type 204-Cu Stainless Steel is a low nickel, copper containing austenitic stainless steel. The high annealed strength is due in part to the nitrogen. The alloy is non-magnetic in the annealed condition and remains that way after cold working.
Type 204-Cu can be used in applications which in the past called for Type 304. It has good resistance to atmospheric corrosion. Temperature maximum is rated 1400 degrees F.
